Cat's Meow: 'Puss 'n Boots' Opens at Summit Playhouse Mar. 7, Continues Through Mar. 15


SUMMIT, NJ - Alliance Repertory Theatre Company will present a modern adaptation of the timeless classic "Puss 'n Boots," opening March 7 and continuing through March 15.

Set in France, the high-energy cast will get the audience involved in the fun as "Boots the Cat" rallies with her new friend -- an unlikely hero named Guy -- Princess Genevieve, and a wacky King and Queen against the town's local ogre, Ugolin the Terrible.
Both hilarious and sweet, theatre-goers are encouraged to polish up your French accents for a show that is designed to please kids and grown-ups alike.
The cast includes Dana Simone, Izzy Figueroa, Alexandra Landau, Rachel Brown, and Brad Howell, and show times are 12:30 and 3 p.m. daily, on March 7-8 and 14-15. Tickets are priced at $15 for adults, with a child admitted for free with every adult ticket purchased. Additional children admissions are $10 each.
The show is part of the New Alliance’s Stages Festival, the state’s largest annual theatre festival that provides discounted and free theatre performances, workshops and, events for all ages throughout the month of March.  

The Stages Festival offers over 100 performances, workshops, classes, and events at the State's professional theatres, performing arts centers, libraries, schools, senior centers, museums, and other community venues.
The program was developed to encourage New Jersey’s residents to attend their local professional theatres by making the experience affordable, accessible, and fun.
