Fifth grade students and their families at Summit's Lincoln-Hubbard School enjoyed the annual Multicultural Celebration on March 3. Pictured are the fifth grade teachers, from left, Annemarie Hague, Andrea Conte, Barbara Slezak, and Karen Harrison, along with students Darien Strickler and Surina Gupta at one of the international food displays, which is the highlight of the event. As part of the Multicultural Celebration, each fifth grader makes a presentation in their homeroom on a tradition they observe in their family or on their family's religious or ethnic background. The students and their invited guests then gather for a reception in the school cafeteria, where they sample foods from around the world prepared by the students' families.
