Central Church in Summit, NJ is proud to announce a new casual worship service, WAVE, premiering on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at 11:15 a.m.   WAVE, an acronym for Worship, Authenticity, Vitality, and Engagement, will be informal and perfect for those who have never been involved in church or who have been away for awhile but who are looking for something more in their lives—a spiritual connection.

This weekly service will feature music under the direction of Adam Gilbert, Central’s Coordinator of Youth and Contemporary Worship.  The biblically-based message, delivered by Pastor Don Steele, will utilize various media forms, and communion will be served each week.  Coffee and light refreshments will be available throughout the hour.  The relaxed atmosphere will be suitable for the entire family, and children are welcome.  For our youngest worshipers, nursery care is provided free of charge.

Adam Gilbert is an established recording artist with 2 CD’s on itunes receiving 5 star ratings. Previously the music director at the Vernon United Methodist Church, he is also the music director and voice faculty at PeachCraft Acting and Vocal Conservatory in Summit.
