SUMMIT, NJ - “Chaos to Calm with Noelle Kirchner,” a new, monthly parenting television series, will air its first episode October 25 at 9 p.m. on HomeTowne Television, which is broadcast locally on both Comcast (36) and Verizon (33) channels.
The show will focus on how chaos affects everyday family life, and how parents can find and nurture calm. Kirchner is a mom, minister, and parenting blogger who will integrate expert advice from local guests, encouragement to bolster faith, and an invitation to join "this new parenting community."
Show topics will include calming schedules, navigating school challenges, surviving holiday chaos, establishing a work / life balance, and strengthening family ties.
A variety of guests are scheduled, ranging from a Summit school teacher and coach, to a local guidance counselor and licensed social worker, to community pastors who are parents themselves
Kirchner serves as Parish Associate at Summit's Central Presbyterian Church. She has published extensively online for sites such as the Huffington Post, the TODAY Show Parenting Team, Mamapedia, (In)courage, and Crosswalk.com. She is a graduate of Northwestern University, where she earned a BA in World Religion, and Princeton Seminary.
A new episode will air each month on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. for the duration of the school year. Following an episode’s first airing, the show will be re-broadcast on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9:30 a.m., Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons at 3 p.m., and Sunday evenings at 7 and 9:30 p.m.
