SUMMIT, NJ – Given the recent heat wave, some may actually be longing for a frosty night in front of the crackling fire during the holidays. While holding that thought, SAGE Eldercare is offering up the best of both worlds July 27 as it will still be the heart of the summer and their annual 'Christmas in July' event will get underway at the SAGE Resale shop.
Snowmen and Christmas ornaments, decorations, greenery, holiday plates, serving pieces, and more will be available, and the sale will continue until the festive merchandise is sold out.
The Resale Shop is located at 31B Chatham Road, and is open Mondays through Saturdays, 10 am to 5 pm, offering an ever-changing selection of quality goods at reasonable prices. In addition, the Resale Shop accepts donations during business hours of furniture, bric-a-brac, jewelry, shoes, gifts, decorations, housewares, china, and in-season, gently used current fashion clothing, from individuals or estate donations.
“This is a very popular sale that we all look forward to each year. We recommend coming early for the best selection,” said Rose Rittweger, Manager of SAGE’s Resale Shop. “One of the great benefits of shopping at -- or giving unwanted items to -- the Resale Shop is that the funds go directly back to the community for programs and services for older adults and their caregivers at SAGE Eldercare.”
SAGE Eldercare has, since 1954, been focused on "helping to make the communities it serves amazing places to age." The organization provides a wide array of information, support, and services designed to help individuals lead the most independent and active lives possible, from helping with errands, to exercise classes, community programs, care planning, and home health care.
