SUMMIT, NJ - As part of a memorial service recognizing the 15th anniversary of September 11, Central Presbyterian Church will be assembling tote bags for Summit first responders to give to children when they are involved in a call or emergency situation.

The 'Night Light Bags' will include a blanket, stuffed animal, and glow stick. The City of Summit is encouraging residents to donate new, hard-cover books to be included in tote bags as well. Central Presbyterian will be assembling tote bags on September 11, and the effort is seeking 100 children’s books before 4:30 p.m. on September 9.

The donation box is located at Central Presbyterian Church, located at 70 Maple Street. with a second collection bin at the Summit Free Public Library, located at 75 Maple Street.
