SUMMIT, NJ - Given the fact that many tournament attendees will likely arrive in the Hilltop City via NJ Transit, the City of Summit and Summit Downtown, Inc. are collaborating on programming designed to reap commercial success from the upcoming PGA Championship at Baltusrol Golf Club, which is set for July 25-31.

There will be shuttle service to the course from the Village Green, where an information tent will be located to inform tournament attendees about local events and special offers. Putting greens will also be placed adjacent to the tent, so visitors can practice their stroke while waiting for the shuttle.

Events are planned throughout the weekend, with live entertainment the evening of July 28 in Lyric Park on Beechwood Road. Other events include:

Tuesday, July 26 at 7 p.m.: Hot Summer Nights Concert Series on the Village Green featuring Total Soul.
