SUMMIT, NJ - The inaugural Kyle Kirst 'Mojo' Golf Classic will tee off at the Suburban Golf Club in Union October 11. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Kirst Children Education Foundation.
The tourney bears the name of former Summit High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team Assistant Coach Kyle Kirst, the larger-than-life personality who brought boundless amounts of what he called "mojo" to everything he touched and everyone he met. Kirst, a member of the coaching staff for a decade, tragically passed away in June of 2015, leaving behind a wife and five sons. In January of 2016, he was posthumously inducted into the New Jersey Lacrosse Hall of Fame, Class of 2015,
Participants will play the A.W. Tillinghast-designed course, and enjoy the following amenities:

The 12 p.m. shotgun start will be preceded by a buffet lunch from 11 a.m. - Noon, and followed by a buffet dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m. The winning foursome will claim the first-ever Kyle Kirst 'Mojo' Memorial Trophy.
