Claudia Piron Earns Triple-Gold as Summit High Track and Field Enjoys Success at State Sectionals

The winning, meet record-setting Hilltopper 4x100m team of Emma Osborne, Jackie Kohaut, Claudia Piron and Gisselle Giron.

MADISON, NJ - Claudia Piron claimed first place in the 100m, 200m and was part of a golden performance by the 4x100m relay team as the Summit High School Track and Field Team delivered a strong performance at the NJSIAA North 2, Group 3 Sectionals at Madison High School.

Piron, Emma Osborne, Jackie Kohaut and Gisselle Giron set a meet record in claiming the 4x100m crown. The Hilltopper Girls Team took second place overall while the Boys came in seventh.

Seven Summit Girls' and an equal number of Boys' Team members have qualified for the Group 3 Championships included:

5/15 - Sean M. Reidy, 52, of Summit was arrested on a contempt of court warrant out of Summit. Mr. Reidy was able to post bail and released with a pending court date.

5/18 - At 1615 hours a report was taken for a theft from a Springfield Avenue business. The incident occurred at approximately 1031 hours when a white female entered the business and removed a blue Ramy Brook Blouse from a rack.
