Union County Clerk Joanne Rajoppi holds the 2018 iGO Innovator Award, an honor bestowed on her by the the International Association of Government Officials (IAGO). The Award is in recognition of the Union County Votes mobile app, which launched in 2014.

The Union County Votes app is a free download for mobile iPhone and Android devices introduced by Rajoppi to provide voters and election-watchers with access to information. The app is regularly upgraded and now has more than 20 functions, including push notifications for alerts.

The IAGO is a professional organization that seeks to improve public services by providing training and leadership development for county recorders, election officials, treasurers and clerks.
