SUMMIT, NJ - The extraordinary song stylings of jazz vocalist Cyrille Aimée will be served up with ice-cold vodka and crispy, fried latkes when Reeves-Reed Arboretum hosts a special concert evening on Saturday, December 7, beginning at 7 p.m., Reeves-Reed Arboretum welcomes back the extraordinary Cyrille Aimée in an intimate concert that is sure to turn up the heat on any frosty holiday weather.
Called “astonishingly creative… with a brilliant sound and impeccable rhythm" by The Wall Street Journal), and hailed as “a revelation!” by the New York Daily News, talented chanteuse takes vocal jazz into new and intoxicating directions with a joyful spirit she invests in every song.
Israeli-born jazz pianist and composer Hila Kulik again will join Aimée on the piano. A recognized prodigy, Kulik has performed with some of the greatest jazz musicians and in prestigious festivals internationally.
Immediately following Aimée’s performance, the Arboretum will offer a tasting of iced cold vodka and a sampling of a holiday indulgence, potato latkes -- a truly festive treat sure to keep spirits bright. Jersey Spirits Distilling Co. will present a fine selection of their vodka and a special vodka-infused holiday cocktail, and the delectable latkes, with the trimmings, come courtesy of David Ellis Events.
Tickets for this special holiday 'Put the ‘PUB’ in Public Garden' event are $75 per person for Arboretum members and $100 for non-members. Seating is general admission and availability limited. Standing room may be sold on the evening of the event.
