Connection's Winter Session Underway; Registration Ongoing for Youth, Adult Programming

SUMMIT, NJ - The Connection's Winter Session, featuring a variety of youth and adult classes and programming, is now underway, with registration for the session, which runs through April 1, ongoing.

Infants and toddlers -- from 6 months to 3 years of age -- can learn and explore new skills in The Connection’s Parent / Child classes.  Little ones will 'get their groove on' in “Movers and Shakers," a fun-filled, action-packed class full of music, dance, games, and imagination. Other Parent / Child classes include “You and Me Yoga,“Jungle Fun,” “Little Musicians,” “Pee Wee Picasso,” “Messy Play,” “Tumbling Tots,” “You & Me Dance” and “Kids In Action."

Kids ages 6-9 can combine their love of learning with tasty treats in the “Edible STEAM” class. New this session, The Connection will be offering “LEGOs, Robots and Coding" as well as an event planning class. Other specialty classes offered this spring include “Cooking- Comfort Foods,” Kids Yoga, Karate," “Tinker with STEAM,” “STEAM Explorers,” and many more.

The Connection’s Dance and Performing Arts program features instructional classes for all ages, abilities, and styles. Instructors help children develop the self-discipline and confidence to perform while having fun and creating friendships with fellow students. Classes include: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, Tutu Tumblers, Princess Ballet, Lights Camera Action, and more! To participate in the 2018 Dance Recital, dancers must register for the Winter and Spring sessions.

Children can continue strengthening their swim skills all year long at The Connection’s indoor pool. Trained instructors provide swim lessons for children and adults of all ages. Parent / Child, Preschool, School-Age, and Adult Learn to Swim Classes provide age appropriate water safety and stroke development skills for participants of all abilities.

The Connection’s Gymnastics classes provide a strong foundation for competitive gymnastics and other sports. In addition to the fun factor, gymnastics increases both agility and coordination. The Connection offers classes for all ages including Parent / Child, Preschool and School Age in a state-of-the-art gymnastics facility.

The Connection offers over 90 adult fitness, dance and aquatics classes weekly to help ensure everyone will find the class of their choosing at a time that fits their busy schedule. Adult fitness and dance classes are free to Total Facility Members, in addition to the use of the pool and fitness center.
