Impressive and Impressed... Greg Vartan is the former; I am the latter.
Without fear of contradiction, I contend that virtually anyone who listens to Greg Vartan, Ward 2 Summit Council candidate, reaches the same conclusion.
Don’t let his boyish looks fool you: Greg Vartan brings a level of civic maturity, responsibility and inclusion that few can match. Greg connects in a refreshingly genuine way with all of Summit’s residents. He has deep roots in and an equally deep commitment to our town and its people.
He grew up in Summit (third generation) and desires to make this his adult home. Greg has lived the diversity many only talk about; he has benefited from our public school system; he sees the realities and the possibilities inherent in twenty-first-century Summit. And, he will do the hard work to make Summit a place that functions for all its residents.
You have only to read his bio and platform to know that his candidacy is grounded in a record of action and accomplishment. As a high school student, Greg served in peer leadership positions. As member of the First Aid Squad, he worked with city officials and residents to keep our city safe. As a successful young professional, he is ready to give back to a community he believes in.
Greg will devote his skills and talent to ensuring that long-term residents, young families with kindergartners, retirees and even those passing through on their way to another corporate relocation will find Summit a desirable place to live and raise a family.
Isn’t it time we had a “voice for all of Summit” on the Council? I endorse Greg Vartan for City Council, and encourage you to vote for him on November 8.
