SUMMIT, NJ - A detour map, developed by New Jersey Transit and the City of Summit Police and Engineering Departments, has been developed as the onset of the Morris Avenue Bridge replacement project approaches. The 18 month-long project is scheduled to begin on or about July 25.

New Jersey Transit will host a public information session on July 15, from 4 - 7 p.m., at City Hall. The purpose of the community meeting is to present general information about the project and traffic detours required during the bridge replacement work. Following the presentation by NJ Transit, there will be an opportunity for questions from the public.

Inquiries about the project may also be made by calling NJ Transit Customer Service at 973-275.5555, or by visiting njtransit.com.

City Hall is located at 512 Springfield Avenue.
