We proudly write today in endorsement of David Dietze to serve as Summit’s next At Large member of Common Council.
David’s priorities are Summit’s priorities. We stand with him and ask you to do the same in the fight for:
The best downtown to work and play - David founded, grew, and runs today a successful small business right in the heart of Summit’s downtown. Every day he has the opportunity to connect with local merchants as well as fellow residents to hear their concerns directly.
Continued excellence in our schools - Most families come to Summit for its highly regarded schools. David has shown effective leadership as President of the Board of Education and has the experience to continue advocating for an environment that welcomes every student to reach their full potential.
Keeping Summit affordable for families and seniors - David is a highly qualified financial professional with experience serving as the Board of Education’s Operations Committee Chair and also on the Board of School Estimate. He has a substantial record of doing the hard, but critical work of balancing demonstrated student needs with good return on your tax dollars.
We both know what it takes to constructively contribute on Council, but more than that what it takes to make a real difference in the lives of Summit residents. David possesses the necessary energy, experience, and insights to make a real difference on day one.
So please take a moment and introduce family, friends, and anyone working in the best interests of our City to David. You can learn more about his well-balanced background, motivations for running, and optimistic vision for Summit at daviddietze.com. He’ll be working hard to earn your trust, confidence, and vote over the months ahead. Without any reservation, he has our full support!
