Have fun with family and friends--help clean up Summit's parks and open spaces in the Fourth Annual City-wide Earth Day Clean Up on Saturday, April 24 from 9 a.m. to noon. For those who do not pre-register, walk-ins are welcome at Martin's Brook Park off Butler Parkway and Briant Park off Morris Avenue beginning at 9 a.m. In case of heavy rain, the event will be held on Sunday, April 25 from 9 a.m. to noon. Participants in Earth Day events are asked to bring work gloves and a beverage. For those participants who would like to work on removal of invasive plants at Briant Park, please bring shovels, clippers or rakes. Community service hours are available.
