Andrew Silow-Carroll, Editor-in-Chief of the New Jersey Jewish News, one of the nation's largest Jewish weekly newspapers, will present a discussion about Israel and foreign relations, "With Friends Like This: Defining Pro Israel in a Hostile World," on Sunday, March 28, at 10 am, at Congregation Beth Hatikvah, 36 Chatham Road, Summit.
Mr. Silow-Carrroll previously served as the managing editor of The Forward, was a Spielberg Fellow, as well as Director of Communications for the National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership. From 1996 -1998 he lived in Israel as a Jersualem Fellow, an international program in Jewish education. Currently, he is a Fellow of Leadership NJ, a civic and political seminar program for emerging state leaders.
His presentation is made possible by the Renaissance Chavurah at the congregation, an active group of longtime members and friends who are committed to providing engaging discourse and social interaction for their peer group.
