SUMMIT, NJ - Former Mayor of Summit, Ellen Dickson, and her husband Chip, along with the Summit Garden Club will be honored by Reeves-Reed Arboretum for their contributions as longtime community partners at the Arboretum's 2016 Gala, "Art in the Garden."
 
The Dicksons will be honored "in recognition of their passionate and unwavering commitment" to Reeves-Reed Arboretum. Ellen Dickson currently sits on the Arboretum’s Development Committee.  Chip Dickson has donated prized selections from his wine collection in support of the Arboretum’s gala. Both can often be found walking through the gardens, attending community-wide events, and checking into the Wisner House Gallery.  

The Summit Garden Club, now celebrating its Centennial Year, and its members have long been volunteers and supporters of the horticultural legacy of Reeves-Reed Arboretum. Members of the club are often found working in the herb garden, or helping to decorate Wisner House during the annual Holiday House Tour.
