After a 3-2 win over New York Cosmos B last Saturday night, FC Motown clinched the Northeast Regional Title. Now it's onto the 'Final Four'.  The win gave FC Motown, two weeks removed from capturing the Keystone Conference title, a place in the National Semifinals of the NPSL.

The team will host FCM Portland on Saturday night, July 28 at Ranger Stadium on the campus of Drew University at 7:30 p.m. Tickets will be available one hour prior to kickoff. FC Motown is now the top seed and has home field advantage throughout the remainder of their time in the playoffs.

“The Cosmos are a worldwide soccer powerhouse and for an amateur team like us to beat them in their home field is an incredible achievement," said club president Oliver Papraniku. "Our focus now is to get ready for our next game against a strong and talented team.”

“We have prepared for this moment for a year now and are totally focused on our most important game which is our next game", continued Papraniku. "It is great to know that we will be home for our next game and hope the home cooking will help us.”

“I wouldn't call it a dream, I think that the national championship is a realistic target for our group of guys," said Coach Sacir Hot. "We also understand that we still haven't won anything yet and have prepare for Portland on Saturday. We must improve in every facet of the game and know that Saturday wasn’t good enough.”

"This is the biggest game in our franchise's history", said co-founder Dan Karosen. "We put ourselves on the national map beating the storied NY Cosmos and are very close to delivering Morris County a national title.  FCM Portland will be a difficult opponent but we will have a lot of energy playing for our home town fans"

The Morristown-based club, an expansion team in the NPSL after forming as a coed soccer team six years ago, now is two matches away from bringing a national title to Morris County.
