There has never been a better time to secure value pricing in one of New Jersey’s most celebrated addresses. The relaxed luxury like the town of Summit provides is tough to quantify in a state known for hustle and bustle.

“In Summit, time stands still,” says Assistant General Manager Michael Marino. “People laugh when we compare it to Mayberry, but there really is a sense of calm about the town married with a cool vibe that people visiting the town for the first time get excited about.”

The 'Hilltop City' is one of the best kept secrets to people throughout the country with a preconceived vision of what New Jersey is all about. When you combine the scenic beauty of the town and its second-to-none access to Manhattan, you come away with a location that is among the best in the country.

While the hotel specializes in large social events like wedding and bar mitzvahs, a significant revenue stream for the property is its corporate meeting and events business. The hotel can accommodate groups from 10-300 participants in its 10,000 square-feet of newly-designed event space. The hotel’s corporate meeting customers like the fact that the intimate size of the hotel allows them to be the focus of the property. It is a luxury that only small boutique-style hotels can provide.

Current corporate specials at the cozy Summit hotel include:

  • Book a meeting anytime between February 27, 2017 and April 30, 2017 and get 10 free guests at your meeting when a meeting of 50 or more attendees is booked.
  • Book a minimum of 10 rooms for 1 night, and take advantage of an $85.00 per person day meeting package with a minimum of 30 attendees. Good thru April 30, 2017.
  • Book a meeting of 50pp or more for 2 days with 10 or more rooms for 2 nights and receive a complimentary welcome reception for your entire group on the night of your choice. Good thru April 30, 2017.
  • Book a day meeting of 25 or more guests and receive your choice of 10% off of dinner at our HAT Tavern or beverage and chocolates at our new Arts and Crafts Lobby Bar. Good thru May 31, 2017.

Every hotel has its peak and valley season and, similar to selecting a destination for a vacation, if you can offer flexibility with your dates, the reward can be significant. “We need to provide an A+ product for every event we host in the hotel,” offers Sales Manager Erin Lenge.

One of the hotel’s most popular promotions includes a complimentary welcome reception for a group of 50 or more when a multi-day meeting with rooms is contracted during shoulder months. It is a great way for curious customers to try out the hotel and see all that this great area has to offer.

With 149 guest accommodations and over 10,000 square feet of recently-renovated event space, The Grand Summit Hotel -- the shining star in the town of Summit -- remains one of the area’s most prestigious addresses for social and corporate events.

The hotel’s culinary reputation is unmatched in the area and has been extended to the wildly popular HAT Tavern in the hotel’s lower level. The management team built on this success recently with the grand opening of the Arts and Crafts Lobby Bar serving private label coffee and espresso, Ironbound Nitro Brewed Iced Coffee, a selection of hard to find craft beers, and wine.

The Grand Summit Hotel is located at 570 Springfield Avenue in Summit, New Jersey 07901. For more information call the hotel at 908-273-3000 or visit our website at grandsummit.com.
