Believing  that everyone has the ability to help someone else, 'Color A Smile' has -- for the past 25 years -- distributed more than 1 million drawings to senior citizens, troops overseas and anyone in need of a smile.

Founded on the premise that cheerful drawings put smiles on people’s faces and that, when children are involved with meaningful volunteer projects, they are very likely to continue to volunteer as adults.

Recently, The Connection's Washington AfterSchool kids did their part and proudly displayed their new creations. For information on how to volunteer to color for or support 'Color A Smile', visit https://colorasmile.org.
