Anyone who has held and run for a public office in addition to holding down a day job knows that this is borne out of an abiding commitment to make a community a better place in which to live. The ideal skill set for a member of Summit's Common Council requires an incredible work ethic, an ability to look at the big picture and a determination to stay the course and do the right thing even in difficult times. I know Andy Lark to have demonstrated these qualities over the years and is a thoughtful, objective and deliberate person when weighing the issues. He doesn't shy away from making the tough decisions, but makes them with a respect for the process that leads him there.

This is what it takes for someone after he or she leaves the day job. Andy Lark has what it takes to stay the course and that is why I ask you to support him.
