SUMMIT, NJ - Jordan Glatt, former mayor of Summit, has joined the Board of Directors of The Other Fellow First Foundation, an organization whose mission is to assist New Jersey families in distress.
Founded in 2000, the foundation -- based at the iconic Summit Diner -- has quietly served as a Summit shock absorber for families in distress.  In addition to providing more than $300,000.00 in direct local assistance and coordinating seven turkey drives on the Sunday before Thanksgiving, the foundation co-chaired the recent and successful $5 million capital campaign to establish a new headquarters for the Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad.

Jim Greberis, co-founder and director of the foundation, said, "Jordan has been one of the foundation's greatest and most loyal supporters for years. Having him officially on the team is a great honor, and we welcome his passion and energy supporting our cause."

Brett Haire, co-founder and director, expressed his gratitude for the years of behind-the-scenes support provided by the former mayor, stating, "Jordan's can do attitude has inspired us to take on projects we never thought we could handle. We are grateful for the public awareness Jordan's direct involvement will bring to our efforts."
