This spring, the Summit Department of Community Programs will offer a free Youth Cheerleading Clinic to prepare for the upcoming fall cheerleading season.      

Beginning May 6 and running through May 27, this spring clinic will meet every Wednesday night from 6:30 – 8:30 pm at the Summit Community Center, 100 Morris Avenue.  Summit girls in grades 4 – 7 are encouraged to sign up today.

The clinic will focus on basic cheer methods and routines, helping participants gain confidence for the upcoming fall cheerleading season.   Those who go on to participate in the Youth Cheerleading program will support the Youth Football team on Sundays throughout the fall.  Practices for the official fall cheer season will begin August 12.
