Summer is a-comin'…
…and the library is here to help you make your plans. It’s the season for outdoor cooking, so if you’re tired of the usual burgers and hot dogs, get inspiration from our cookbook collection. Find recipes for barbecue foods from all parts of the USA—and beyond. Give your grill an Italian touch, or Korean, or Argentine. Special diet? There are cookbooks for low-fat, low-carb, and even vegan grilling.
Entertaining outdoors? A selection of musical CDs can help set the mood, or download albums through our free streaming service, Hoopla.
Other how-to books for summer projects cover gardening of all kinds, patios, ponds, and outdoor structures. Find ideas to build a birdhouse—or a treehouse.
Going on vacation? We’ve got travel guides for almost any destination. Downloadable e-books won’t weigh you down at the beach or on a plane. Audiobooks for all ages can make a long drive more enjoyable.
The library will closed on Sunday in July and August.
