SUMMIT, NJ - The Summit Educational Foundation (SEF) will establish a speakers series in the name of former Summit High School English teacher Arthur C. McCann, thanks to a $50,000 donation from Nicholas Stephens, Summit High School Class of 1972.

The Arthur C. McCann honors a gentleman remembered by students as a dynamic and caring teacher who had a lasting impact on them. Each year, through the SEF's regular grants process, grants for speakers at the Summit Public Schools will eligible for funding through proceeds from this endowment.

This is an open endowment and others who would like to celebrate McCann are invited to contribute in any amount. To learn more about the endowment, or to donate, visit sefnj.
