The Summit Luminary Fund, began 39 years ago on a handful of streets, raised a new record total in 2020 -- generating approximately $130,000 for local charities and bathing Summit neighborhoods in a holiday glow on December 25.

Hilltop City residents, in an all-encompassing community effort, represented 162 Summit streets and were assisted by more than 209 street captains.

Lois Schneider Realtor -- as it has every year of the initiative -- once again served as the Fund's underwriter, contributing $10,000 in 2020. “We are proud to work with the Summit Luminary Fund and the non-profit beneficiaries that contribute so much to our town," said Karen Schneider, President of Lois Schneider Realtor. "At Lois Schneider Realtor we are committed to helping support their work. We’d like to thank Summit Luminary Fund President, Barbara Romano for her continued hard work and dedication, as well as all the area leaders and volunteers."
