SUMMIT, NJ - There have been -- and continue to be -- some famous football bowl games that dot the landscape of the holiday season.

There's the 'Granddaddy of The All' - the Rose Bowl. Others are also institutions, such as the Orange Bowl, Cotton Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Peach Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, Hawaii Bowl, Sun Bowl and the Holiday Bowl.

Then there are those with monikers that are a tad less classic, serving up more corporate, and therefore dubious, names, such as the TaxSlayer Bowl, the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, the Foster Farms Bowl, the Duck Commander Independence Bowl, the Beef O'Brady's Bowl, the Meineke Car Care Bowl, and the Dollar General Bowl.

But there is only one bowl game in Summit, and there is only one 'Turkey Bowl'.

The 15th edition of the 07901's holiday classic will take place Friday, November 25 at Tatlock Park. Kick-off is set for 11 a.m.

The hallowed tilt, which sees sales of Bengay, ACE bandages, and Advil spike in the Hilltop City, is open to Summit Football Alumni, family and friends, and will feature a post-game celebration at the Summit Elks Lodge, beginning at 1 p.m.

Sal Liberato owner of 908 Enterprises - Social Media Marketing and a Summit Football alum, is donating his time to help market the Turkey Bowl via social media sites like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
