SUMMIT, NJ - Summit's Boy Scouts held a car wash event May 9, which served as a fundraiser for Troop 67. The Scouts set up camp on the corner of Morris Avenue and Locust Drive, applying their industrious skills to the delight of satisfied customers.

Boy Scouting is for boys who are 11-17 years of age, or are at least 10 years old and have completed the fifth grade or have earned the Cub Scout Arrow of Light Award. Scouts experience a vigorous outdoor program, and peer group leadership with the counsel of an adult Scoutmaster, to achieve the Boy Scouts of America's objectives of developing character, citizenship, and personal fitness.

Summit Troop 67 is chartered by St. Teresa of Avila Church, and meets weekly -- on Mondays at 7:30 p.m. -- in the Church's lower memorial hall. For more information, visit troop67online.org.
