SUMMIT, NJ - Habitat for Humanity is constructing two 2-bedroom condominiums in Summit, NJ and is seeking low-income applicants. These homes will be sold for $81,591 and $94,931.
The minimum income to participate in the Habitat program is $25,000 annually. The maximum annual income limit ranges from $42,960 to $53,700 and is based on the number of occupants.  
Applicants will be evaluated based on their income level, credit score of 600 or better, credit history, debt to income ratio of less than 40 percent, and other criteria.
A mandatory orientation meeting will be scheduled for all applicants that qualify financially. Date and location will be announced to those applicants.

The deadline for submission of complete application packets to the Morris Habitat for Humanity office is Jan. 13, 2012.  
A $20.00 application processing fee must accompany the application in the form or cash or a money order.   Personal checks will not be accepted.
Qualified applicants will be assigned a lottery number and the home owner will be selected via lottery.
