SUMMIT, NJ - Summit Downtown, Inc. (SDI), continuing to spotlight the many Hilltop City-based design businesses, will host a three-part design series beginning with Part I on March 16.
A 'shopping hour' from 6 - 7 p.m. begins the festivities, with many downtown design businesses open late. Beginning at 7 p.m., four downtown businesses will be hosting special events:
Greathouse Bonny Neiman will feature two of their favorite designers, Susan Anthony and Carrie McCall, both of whom will be in-house to share their years of expertise and give each person attending valuable ideas and solutions to their design challenges. Attendees are invited to bring questions, photos, measurements and even blueprints to this free session, as the creative professionals tackle design concerns one-on-one.
Trillion Creative, a graphic design and branding studio, just expanded their office and will be hosting an open house. Visitors will tour their new space, enjoy refreshments, and find out more about their work, including new websites they recently designed for the American Repertory Ballet and Princeton Ballet School.
West Elm will offer a class entitled 'Table Top Styling: Style Memorable Tablescapes for the Season'. West Elm’s staff will provide tips and pointers on how to create some of their signature seasonal tables capes. The cost of the class is $10, with two sessions -- 7 - 7:45 and 8 - 8:45 p.m. -- available. RSVP is required either via firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 908-273-0983.
SAHOLA Floral Art & Event Design will host a Spring Fusion Flower Workshop beginning at 7 p.m. for $45 per person. There are 12 spots available in the workshop, with sign-up available at email@example.com.
