Help the DCP "Share the Fun" with You

In an effort to improve upon current communication techniques, the Summit Department of Community Programs (DCP) is conducting an ongoing survey to determine the most effective ways of sending out information, specifically in regards to special events updates.

The Summit DCP plays host and co-host to a number of special events held throughout the year, including popular summertime traditions such as the Hot Summer Nights Concert Series and the Screen on the Green Outdoor Movie Series.

The DCP also works alongside several other Summit organizations to put on large-scale events such as the Mayor’s Annual Fourth of July Celebration, National Night Out and several PAL events, including the Annual Halloween Parade, Fishing Derby, Easter Egg Hunt, Pet Show and more.

All events are completely free and open to the general public.  Since the Summit DCP strongly adheres to their mantra of “Sharing the Fun,” they want to be sure to communicate all upcoming event details with fans like you.

Please take a few moments to complete the Summit DCP Survey and help the DCP continue to serve the community of Summit.

“When we’re able to effectively communicate details on our upcoming events or programs, we know we’re working to our fullest potential.  We want to make sure we’re getting all of the important dates and times to the widest range of people possible in the most effective manner possible,” states Sophie H. Mannaerts, Communications with the Summit DCP.

“These days, there are so many outlets for sending out information.  It’s important to determine the best practices for getting the right information to the right people.” Mannaerts further states.

The survey is a starting point for the DCP, which is quickly advancing its digital marketing strategies.  Surely anyone who has attended a DCP event in the past few years realizes the importance of keeping these types of community traditions thriving.

Help the Summit DCP continue to serve the community of Summit.  Take the survey today and help keep Summit connected…
