Summit residents Mary Farrell and Kevin Cummings meet with scholarship recipients at De Paul Catholic High School in Wayne, NJ, part of the Tri-County Scholarship Fund program, which provides funds for economically disadvantaged, and inner-city students of northern New Jersey, to attend independent schools that offer quality, values-based education.

Cummings, CEO of Investors Bank, and The Mary Farrell Family will be honored at the the 35th Anniversary Gala of Tri-County Scholarship Fund (TCSF) to be held on November 7.

Since its inception in 1981, the TCSF has provided more 30,000 scholarships to needy New Jersey K-12 students, totaling over $25 million in scholarships over the past 35 years, with 98-100% of Tri-County students graduating from high school.

Cluelessly Clueless

I teenaged my way through high school under the assumption that my parents had no idea what I was doing.  I like to think I was pretty good at withholding information and presenting situations in ways that were other than they really were.

Still, sometimes they found things out.  Like the time my friends plopped me on our front door step at one o'clock in the morning ...
