SUMMIT, NJ - In a rematch of a week seven, hard-fought Summit victory, the Seventh Grade Youth Football Team will battle Bloomfield November 15 at Investors Bank Field, the victor advancing to the New Jersey Suburban Youth Football League "Super Bowl." Kick-off is set for 12 p.m.

Last week, Summit defeated Westfield in the opening round of the playoffs, opening the game with a 65-yard scamper around the left side for a touchdown and then -- after forcing the Blue Devils into a "three and out" -- returning the ensuing punt for a 54-yard score.

Later in the half Summit drove to the Westfield 5-yard line and kicked at 20-yard field goal to make it 19-0. The teams traded scores n the second half -- Summit's coming on a 70-yard run.

Number-two seeded Bloomfield's only setback this season is the week seven, 14-7 defeat to the Hilltoppers. Big and aggressive, they also feature a robust group of traveling fans. Summit hopes to take advantage of a true home-field advantage for their first home playoff game in three years.
