Holiday House Hop: RRA's Annual Festive Tour Set for Dec. 8

Five elegant local homes will be featured on RRA's Holiday House Tour December 8.

SUMMIT, NJ - Five elegant Summit and Short Hills homes, ranging in architectural style from Tudor to Contemporary, are set to get dressed up for the holidays, as Reeves-Reed Arboretum’s (RRA) Annual Holiday House Tour will take place December 8, from 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Also part of the traditional trek RRA’s historic Wisner House on the Arboretum grounds. Wisner House will stay open until 8 p.m. to accommodate the anticipated number of holiday house tour guests and evening shoppers.

The Holiday Boutique at Wisner House, starting at 9 a.m. on the day of the tour, will include select vendors and RRA horticulturists and feature gifts, treats, and seasonal arrangements. The Arboretum has added added evening shopping hours, where shoppers can enjoy a holiday beverage and more time to peruse the merchandise, from 5 - 8 p.m.

“Every year, the Holiday House Tour gets more exciting as more people turn out to see these beautiful homes,” said Frank Juliano, Executive Director of Reeves-Reed Arboretum. “This year’s event, especially with the extended hours to shop, promises to be one of the best ever with so many breathtaking homes, and even more beautiful gifts at the Holiday Boutique.”

Tickets for Holiday House Tour are priced at $40 for RRA members, $45 for non members, with a special package available that includes a buffet luncheon at the Beacon Hill Club priced at $70 for Arboretum members, $75 for non-members.

The Arboretum also offers a special Valet Package for $175 which includes a pair of tickets, the luncheon, and a jitney that leaves from The Grand Summit Hotel and takes participants to each home on the tour. Reservations for the luncheon and valet packages are required.
