SUMMIT, NJ - Spring Track and Field's Icisys Sadler and Jack Bunting have been honored as Summit High School Athletes of the Week, presented by TAPinto Summit, for the week ending April 23.

Each week throughout the school athletic year, an athlete or athletes will be honored for distinguishing themselves in the arena of competition, in the classroom, and for demonstrating exemplary, Hilltopper-caliber sportsmanship and leadership qualities.

Sadler has become a standout in only her first year as a Summit 'trackster'. Currently Summit High School's top high jumper and top hurdler -- ranked third in Union County -- she is also a member of the medal-winning shuttle hurdle relay team, as well as the 4x100 and 4x200 sprint relay teams.

Bunting is an all around threat in any track and field event he competes in. He is a top 400m hurdler, a long jumper, a high jumper and a member of school record triple-jump relay team, along with being a member of medal winning 4x100, 4x200, 4x400, 4x800 and Sprint Medley relay teams.

5/15 - Sean M. Reidy, 52, of Summit was arrested on a contempt of court warrant out of Summit. Mr. Reidy was able to post bail and released with a pending court date.

5/18 - At 1615 hours a report was taken for a theft from a Springfield Avenue business. The incident occurred at approximately 1031 hours when a white female entered the business and removed a blue Ramy Brook Blouse from a rack.
