The artwork of Israeli fine artists Ilan Hasson, Avi Biran and others, featuring unique paintings, whimsical silver Judaica and jewelry, will be on display at Congregation Beth Hatikvah, 36 Chatham Road, Summit, on Saturday, November 6, from 7:30 pm to 10 pm.  The exhibition is open to the public. All pieces at the show will be available for sale with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Reconstructionist synagogue.

Hasson, a prominent Israeli artist whose colorful work has been exhibited worldwide from Mexico City to Paris, was specially commissioned by Congregation Beth Hatikvah.  His characteristically bright paintings, in water colors, goash, acrylics and Japanese ink on handmade paper, focus on Jewish themes and the sights of Israel. Biran, a renowned Israeli silversmith, creates a wide array of beautiful, and often humorous, Jewish ritual objects.
