SUMMIT, NJ - The Junior League of Summit, a non-profit, volunteer organization focusing on the areas of Summit, Chatham, Madison, New Providence and Berkeley Heights, will host an informational event June 26, at 7 p.m., for women who are interested in joining the League. 

The event affords the opportunity to meet current members and to learn more about the JLS' mission, projects and membership opportunities.

The Junior League of Summit, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. The JLS reaches out to women of all races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism.
