SUMMIT, NJ - Girls Swimming's Katherine Greer and Boys Ice Hockey team member Wilson Lees have been honored as Summit High School Athletes of the Week, presented by TAPinto Summit, for the week ending February 26.

Each week throughout the school athletic year, an athlete or athletes will be honored for distinguishing themselves in the arena of competition, in the classroom, and for demonstrating exemplary, Hilltopper-caliber sportsmanship and leadership qualities.

Greer took third place in the 500 Free at the Union County Championships, and the senior swam in the lead-off position for the Hilltopper 400 Free Relay Team that finished second.

Junior goaltender Lees earned back-to-back shutouts in NJSIAA Public B State Tournament wins over Verona and Madison, stopping 30 shots in the process. Summit, which won the Union County and McInnis Cups this season, advanced to the quarterfinals before falling to Glen Rock.
