SUMMIT, NJ - Girls Varsity Soccer's Keegan Mayer and Boys JV Soccer Team member Owen Healey have been honored as Summit High School Athletes of the Week, presented by TAPinto Summit, for the week ending September 17.

Each week throughout the school athletic year, an athlete or athletes will be honored for distinguishing themselves in the arena of competition, in the classroom, and for demonstrating exemplary, Hilltopper-caliber sportsmanship and leadership qualities.

Sophomore Mayer has scored six goals in the first six matches of the Maroon and White's 2017 season, including two matches where she has scored twice. The Girls Varsity Soccer Team is currently 3-3 on the season.

Striker Healey, also a sophomore, had three goals in two games during the week. According to Head Coach Kevin Zaleski, Healey is "a constant spark plug for our team."
