As more and more hotels begin to look and feel as if they’re mirror images of each other, The Grand Summit Hotel’s corporate clientele enjoys the intimacy that a classic hotel from another time creates.

The Grand Summit Hotel has hosted meetings, events and guests alike while steps from the vibrant Summit downtown for more than 100 years. Every staff member at the Legendary Lodge takes incredible pride in carrying on this tradition of warmth, hospitality and superior service that is part or our near 150-years tradition.

Heading into a busier meeting season for area hotels, the Grand Summit is running a host of exciting special offers to introduce new companies in the area to all it has to offer. “When you have an event at the Grand Summit you’re working with a staff who are just as committed as you are when it comes to running a perfect event.” Says Senior Sales Manager Paul Rupert. “We don’t just want to book business, we want to build relationships, experiences and memories which will leave everybody wanting to come back.”

Current corporate specials at the historic hotel include:

Book a meeting anytime between August 1, 2017 and November 1, 2017 and get 20% off of our all-inclusive day meeting package when a day meeting of 35 or more attendees is booked.

Book a minimum of 20 rooms for 3 nights, and take advantage of an $85.00 per person day meeting package with a minimum of 35 attendees per day for 2 or more days of meetings. Good thru November 1, 2017.

Book a meeting of 50pp or more for 2 days with 10 or more rooms for 2 nights and receive a complimentary welcome reception for your entire group on the night of your choice. Good thru November 1, 2017.

Every hotel has its peak and valley season, and similar to selecting a destination for a vacation, if you can offer flexibility with your dates, the reward can be significant. “We need to provide an A+ product for every event we host in the hotel,” said General Manager Michael Marino. “In terms of what we provide, whether it be service or quality of food, the day on the calendar means nothing when it comes to our delivery to the guest. The savings, however, can be as much as 35% during the hotel’s softer periods. You are able to take advantage of a great price, for the same great product.”

One of the hotel’s promotions includes a complimentary welcome reception for a group of 50 or more when a multi-day meeting with rooms is contracted during shoulder months. It is a great way for curious customers to try out the hotel and be rewarded – in “Grand” style – for doing so.

“With 10,000 square feet of event space, we can handle groups as large as 400, yet, we’re small and intimate enough where a good-sized meeting can utilize all of our meeting space – and just about take over the hotel.” Adds Rupert “That capability, coupled with all of our meeting space being on one floor and centrally located allows for an incredible vibe for your meeting or event – one that cultivates an atmosphere of intimacy and comfort while still providing world-class accommodations, food and services.”

With a renovation to the meeting and function space recently completed, the response from long-time clients has been overwhelmingly positive. The thrust of the renovation focused on creating a modern look for the ballroom while keeping the charm and elegance the ballroom and pre-function spaces have boasted since the hotel’s inception. The hotel took it a step further purchasing the latest finished meeting room tables and conference chairs to provide their executive level customers with the comfort they expect at conference-centric hotels.

The Grand Summit Hotel boasts one of the most prestigious addresses in the Northeast and is nestled in a leafy, quiet neighborhood. The setting gives the property an unbeatable atmosphere as the air becomes crisp and the leaves evolve into their gorgeous fall colors. However, with immediate access to the pharmaceutical corridor and what is increasingly becoming an extension of Wall Street powerhouse companies, Summit truly is the best of both worlds. “When Equinox Sports Club and Aston Martin move into town, you can be sure that is a place you will be comfortable doing meetings in,” adds Marino.

With 149 guest accommodations and over 10,000 square feet of recently-renovated event space, The Grand Summit Hotel -- the shining star in the town of Summit -- remains one of the area’s most prestigious addresses for social and corporate events.

The hotel’s culinary reputation is unmatched in the area and has been extended to the wildly popular HAT Tavern in the hotel’s lower level. The management team built on this success recently with the grand opening of the Arts and Crafts Lobby Bar serving private label coffee and espresso, Ironbound Nitro Brewed Iced Coffee, a selection of hard to find craft beers, and wine.

The Grand Summit Hotel is located at 570 Springfield Avenue in Summit, New Jersey 07901. For more information call the hotel at 908-273-3000 or visit our website at grandsummit.com.
