Nine years of full-time effort has bent (but not broken) the cost curve of local government. Summit's property taxes now rise 1.5% instead of 7% per year!
Two new leaders are pledged to continue this austerity. Sandra Lizza and Mike McTernan are fiscal conservatives, with corporate management backgrounds, who can run City Hall like the Big Business it is.
Fresh leadership to finish the job. Not a divisive, vitriolic retread, censured by colleagues wherever he's served, switching parties in a head-long pursuit of office.
Lizza and McTernan are the ticket for Summit's future (not its past).
