SUMMIT, NJ - Max Jackson has been selected as the Salerno Duane Summit Football Player of the Game for his contributions in the Hilltoppers' 45-37 loss to Rahway.

The Salerno Duane Summit Football Player of the Game Award is collaboration between Salerno Duane Jeep Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Summit and TAPinto Summit which, after each Summit High School Varsity Football game through the end of the season, will honor one or more players -- as designated by the coaching staff -- for his / their performance(s).

Jackson ran for touchdowns of 28 and 15 yards on back-to-back Hilltopper possessions, the scores forming the building blocks of a 29-point second-half output that brought Summit to within one score of tying the game.
