SUMMIT, NJ - The Summit YMCA is holding a food drive in the Month of May to benefit Summit Helping Its People (SHIP), an organization whose mission is to feed the homeless and at-risk homeless people in Summit and assist participants in obtaining additional support services.

The drive looks to collect he following items to help SHIP stock its pantry for the spring / summer:  Coffee (unflavored), Canned Tuna or Chicken, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Cereal, Ketchup Sugar Napkins, Mayonnaise. Donations can be dropped off in the lobby at the Summit YMCA through May 31.
