As has become tradition, a group from Calvary Episcopal Church -- consisting of both Clergy and laypeople -- commuted from their house of worship to the Summit Train Station to provide Ash Wednesday rites.

The "Ashes-to-Go" initiative saw Reverend Canon Matthew Corkern, Peter Gordon, David Farrand, Sharon Snapp, the Reverend Nate Huddleston and Pam Kuhn greeting the NJ Transit-bound public.

According to ashestogo.org, "'Ashes to Go' is about bringing spirit, belief, and belonging out from behind church doors, and into the places where we go every day."
