SUMMIT, NJ - Monica Boyd of Summit and Kate Morrison of New Providence will serve as Summit Junior Fortnightly Club (SJFC) co-presidents as the organization debuted its 2020-21 Board of Directors. The duo succeed Brianne Finnegan and Megan Vartan, both of Summit, and will be joined by a group of women with a variety of personal, educational, and professional backgrounds who share the organization's commitment to community service.
The 2020-21 Board of Directors includes:

- Sheri Levine Shea, Financial Investigations Officer
- Heather Speas, Membership Chairman
- Megan Vartan, Publicity / Website / Social Media Chairman
- Brianne Finnegan and Tina Walker, Volunteer Chairmen
- Wendi Porretti, Adopt-a-Class Chairman
- Shelly Davies, Social Chairman
- Kathleen Walsh, Spelling Bee Chairman
- Adrienne Natrillo, Photos with Santa Chairman.
Boyd, Morrison, and the Board of Directors will serve one-year terms and lead the organization as it promotes strong relations with women while serving the greater community with an emphasis on women and children.
When asked about the prospects of their joint leadership role, Boyd and Morrison jointly commented, "Now, more than ever, we seek to bring women together so that we can serve the greater good."
Boyd joined the SJFC in 2015 and has served as Vice President and Hospitality Chair. She is also a member of Community Bible Study. She resides in Summit with her husband, Jeff. Morrison joined the SJFC in 2017 and has served as Social and Membership Chair. She is also a member of the New Providence Middle School PTO. She resides in New Providence with her two sons.
The Summit Junior Fortnightly Club, a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, is a 501(c)(3) women’s social and philanthropic club dedicated to community service and outreach, with a focus on improving the welfare of families and children within our communities. The SJFC service area includes Summit, New Providence, Short Hills, and Berkeley Heights.
