SUMMIT, NJ - Ice Hockey's Morgen Shung and Basketball's Chip Roriston have been selected as Summit High School Athletes of the Week, presented by TAPinto Summit, for the week ending February 5.

Each week throughout the school athletic year, an athlete or athletes will be honored for distinguishing themselves in the arena of competition, in the classroom, and for demonstrating exemplary, Hilltopper-caliber sportsmanship and leadership qualities.

Sophomore Shung scored a hat trick against Princeton, and then scored another goal in the Hilltoppers next game versus Oak Knoll, contests in which The Maroon & White emerged victorious.

Senior captain Roriston scored 46 total points in back-to-back games, including a career-high 24 in a landslide win over Governor Livingston. He followed that feat up with a 22-point performance in a narrow defeat at AL Johnson High School.
