'Muling for a Cause', Summit's Piattino and Office Tavern Grill Offer Special Fall Cocktail Benefiting Susan G. Komen Efforts

SUMMIT, NJ - In honor of October serving as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, guests at Summit's 40NORTH-owned and -operated restaurants --  including The Office Tavern Grill and Piattino: A Neighborhood Bistro -- will have the opportunity to support Susan G. Komen by enjoying an original fall craft cocktail, named The Fall Harvest Mule', made with apple cider, cranberry juice, Claremont Vodka, cinnamon simple syrup, fresh lime juice and ginger beer.

The seasonal sensation is a unique twist on the classic 'Moscow Mule' and part of Morristown-based 40NORTH Restaurants’ "Muling for a Cause" program. The cocktail will be available to guests during the month of October, and $1 of every 'Fall Harvest Mule' purchased will be donated directly to Susan G. Komen to help fund its research and treatment efforts and eradicate breast cancer amongst women.

The "Muling for a Cause" program, which started in September of 2017, aims to raise funds and awareness for a different cause each month by offering guests a new flavored 'Moscow Mule', with $1 from each drink purchased donated directly to charity. The program is run in partnership with award-winning Claremont Distilled Spirits, Inc., based locally in Fairfield. Each 'Mule' features Claremont Vodka, produced with New Jersey potatoes and occasionally flavored with locally-grown Garden State fruits including blueberries and peaches.
