SUMMIT, NJ – March 8, 2017 – The New Jersey Dance Theatre Ensemble (NJDTE) will host “Poesia,” a free community 'storytime' of springtime poetry at the Summit Free Public Library April 20, beginning at 4 p.m.

Open to all children in the community ages 4 - 10, NJDTE dancers will bring the classical and contemporary poetry of Robert Louis Stevenson, Langston Hughes, Eve Merriam and more to life. New Jersey Dance Theatre Ensemble dancers, including Summit resident Isabel Sottile, 17, will perform and lead interactive creative movement explorations inspired by the season of Spring, nature and animals.

Afterwards, the dancers will answer questions, sign autographs and take photos with the children in attendance. The NJDTE is a pre-professional training and performing company for young dancers based in downtown Summit,
