Summit Mayor Nora Radest, along with Common Council members Sandra Lizza, Robert Rubino, and Richard Sun, as well as a plethora representatives from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, New Jersey Properties, all were on hand to cut the ribbon officially opening the new Berkshire Hathaway location in Summit.
Located at 392 Springfied Avenue, Berkshire Hathaway's new home is uniquely also home to an art gallery, which will rotate exhibits throughout the year. The first exhibit is entitled, “Alen MacWeeney, Landscape Photography Exhibition.”
The building originally served as a flagship location of City Federal Savings Bank. Berkshire Hathaway Home Services New Jersey Properties retained several features of the original bank building, including the vault.
